What to include

If you're reporting a bug or asking about behavior in the app, please tell us:

  • What you were trying to do
  • What you expected to happen
  • What actually happened
  • The device and iOS version (Settings → General → About)
  • The app version (Settings → Account, when available)

Common questions

How do I export my data?

Settings → Data → Export your data. A JSON file is generated and passed to the iOS share sheet so you can save it to Files, email it to yourself, or move it elsewhere.

How do I delete my account?

Settings → Data → Delete account. You'll be asked to type the word DELETE to confirm. Your data is marked deleted immediately and permanently removed after 30 days; during that window you can email support if you want it restored.

Why doesn't the reflection quote scripture directly?

The current reflection mode weaves corpus content into its own phrasing rather than quoting verbatim. The sources it drew on are listed at the bottom of each reflection — tap any one to read the full passage in context.

Can I change my tradition later?

Yes — Settings → Profile → Tradition. The change applies to all reflections generated after that point. Past reflections keep whatever tradition they were generated under.

Is my journal text really private?

Free-text fields are encrypted at rest in our database. The content of your reflection is sent to OpenAI's API to generate the response — under OpenAI's business terms they don't use API content to train public models. We send only the reflection content itself, not your account identifiers. Full detail in the Privacy Policy.

Early access

The daily practice is already live in your browser at holystic.ai/app/, in case that's enough to get you going. The iOS app is feature-complete and waiting on Apple Developer Program organization enrollment before it can land on TestFlight. If you'd like a heads-up when TestFlight opens, email support@holystic.ai with "Early access" in the subject and we'll add you to the list.
